Description
The 6th Student Conference on Operational Research will take place at the University of Nottingham from April 6th – 8th 2018.

The Student Conference on Operational Research is a bi-annual meeting where you can showcase your work, establish new connections, and share your experiences. We are pleased to invite PhD students and postgraduate students working in the Operational Research and Managerial Sciences. Our goal is to create a friendly environment where you can talk to colleagues of similar interests, receive constructive feedback and learn about edge cutting applications of Operational Research. The scientific program will include keynote speeches, parallel sessions and workshops. While the scientific program satisfies our intellects the social program will include activities where you can meet and network with fellow students.

In addition to abstract submission, you are invited to submit full papers to be electronically published as part of conference proceedings. Abstracts should contain a maximum of 250 words and 3 to 5 keywords. Full paper submissions must be 10 pages long at most.

The conference precedes the NATCOR course “Heuristics and Approximation Algorithms”, on the Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham. We look forward to seeing you there.
