Description
We are looking to recruit two Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions to be funded by the Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network “ReTraCE” – Realising the Transition towards the Circular Economy” (www.retrace-itn.eu) within the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission.

The two positions will be hosted by the Management School of the University of Sheffield (UK) which is also the coordinating institution of the ReTraCE network. The ESRs will also be enrolled in the local PhD programme. Both the positions will deal with the application of decision-making methods for the design and the evaluation of the performance of Circular Supply Chains.

In your application you should provide a detailed CV, a Cover Letter (detailing your suitability to the position you want to apply for) and a Research Proposal (not longer than 3000 words) articulating your understanding of the project related to the position you are applying for. You should have a first degree and a relevant post-graduate taught qualification (MSc/MA or equivalent qualifications/experience). Recommended fields include: Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Management Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Computer Science.

The successful candidates will receive an attractive salary in accordance with the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) regulations for early stage researchers. Pre-determined annual gross rates include a living allowance (£33,561 per annum), as well as a mobility allowance (£4,952 per annum) and a family allowance (£4,126 per annum, if applicable).
